JONESBORO, Ill. -- Russell Brown, 70, of Jonesboro died Monday, May 26, 1997, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.
He was born Dec. 18, 1926, in Jonesboro, son of Oscar Ernest and Augusta Dora Grabow Brown.
Brown was a retired farmer. He was a member of Ware United Methodist Church and Farm Bureau. He was a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include a brother, Carlos Brown, and a sister, Jean Davie, both of Jonesboro.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home in Jonesboro from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. John Prather and Robert Smithey officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
