PERRYVILLE -- Russell A. Petzoldt, 81, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center. He was born April 15, 1913, in East Prairie, son of Fred and Bertha Petzoldt. PERRYVILLE -- Russell A. Petzoldt, 81, of Perryville, died Tuesday, Sept. 27, 1994, at Aspen Forest Care Center.

He was born April 15, 1913, in East Prairie, son of Fred and Bertha Petzoldt. He and Alieda Hemmann were married April 15, 1934.

Petzoldt was a farmer. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and had played on the Dart Ball League in New Wells and Perryville.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Elmer Petzoldt of Perryville, Royal Petzoldt of Oak Ridge, Roy Petzoldt of Plano, Ill., Bobby Petzoldt of Jackson; 23 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sons and a daughter.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and on Friday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Jeffrey Lloyd officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
