RUFUS FOSTER

BERTRAND -- Rufus Foster, 90, of Bertrand, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 1991, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 25, 1900, in Maynard, Ark., son of James D. and Elizabeth Abernathy Foster. He and Emma Weaver were married Dec. 12, 1918. She died May 17, 1989.

Foster was a retired farmer and member of Morley Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Asher and Dolores Foster of Warren, Ill., Billie and Joyce Foster of Wildwood, Fla.; a daughter, Beatrice Rolwing of Charleston; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by four brothers.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at McMikle Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Gerald Collier will officiate, with burial in Morley Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.
