Rudolph Kagle
Rudolph L. "Rudy" Kagle, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Sunday, April 6, 2008, at his home.
He was born June 10, 1921, in Fornfelt, son of William Marion and Floy Mae Bolin Kagle. He and Bernice Burger were married Jan. 10, 1942, in Illmo.
Kagle was a graduate of Fornfelt High School. He served with the U.S. Army in World War II from Sept. 18, 1942, to Jan. 25, 1946.
He worked 13 1/2 years at Marquette Cement and then was a line technician 13 1/2 years at Procter & Gamble, retiring in 1983. He was a member of St. Mary Cathedral and VFW Post 3838.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Kagle, and a brother, Carl Kagle, both of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home, with parish prayers at 7.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with the Rev. Tom Kiefer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, with graveside rites provided by VFW Post 3838 and Missouri Honors Team.
