RUBY WEBB

SIKESTON -- Ruby Ione Brown Webb, 76, of Sikeston died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1996, at the Miner Nursing Center.

She was born Jan. 18, 1920, in Bertrand, the daughter of Irvin Brown and Minnie M. Haley Holmes. On Oct. 13, 1945, she married James H. Webb, who preceded her in death on Jan. 5, 1984.

She lived most of her life in Mississippi and Scott Counties. She was a member of the Cornerstone General Baptist Church in Bertrand.

Survivors include three sons, Lowell E. Finley of Sikeston, Harry Webb of Wyatt and Richard Webb of Adel, Ga.; one daughter, Connie M. Day of Sikeston; one brother, E. Marshall Holmes of Jackson; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Home in Charleston.

The funeral service will be at noon on Tuesday with Charles Kohlbaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
