ADVANCE, Mo. -- Ruby Annabelle Wankum, age 81, of Advance passed away Monday, Sept. 13, 2010, at Advance Nursing Center.
She was born June 3, 1928, in Bragg City, Mo., to George C. and Mattie Bright Terrett.
Mrs. Wankum worked in as a waitress for several restaurants and was of the Catholic faith.
She is survived by a son, Donald Wankum of Jefferson City, Mo.; two sisters, Zella Carmack of Advance, Ruth Null of Hendersonville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother; and one sister, Francis Brasher.
Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, Mo.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. today, with Brother Ronnie McAtee officiating.
Private burial will be at a later date.
