PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruby G. Toohey, 91, of Perryville died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital. She was born Nov. 20, 1908, at Rucker, Mo., daughter of William H. and Musetta Sinclair Sword. She and F.J. Toohey Sr. were married Nov. 26, 1924. He died June 27, 1982...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruby G. Toohey, 91, of Perryville died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Nov. 20, 1908, at Rucker, Mo., daughter of William H. and Musetta Sinclair Sword. She and F.J. Toohey Sr. were married Nov. 26, 1924. He died June 27, 1982.

Toohey was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Survivors include a son, Francis Toohey Jr. of Perryville; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, three sisters, and a brother.

Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Vincent's Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

Young and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
