EAST PRAIRIE -- Ruby Rigsby, 85, of Mississippi County, died Monday, Jan. 8, 1996, at East Prairie Nursing Center.

She was born Dec. 10, 1910, in Mississippi County, daughter of N.B. and Lois Roach Busby. She and Lexie Rigsby were married in 1935. He died in July 1974.

Rigsby attended the School for the Deaf at Fulton. She had been employed as a presser in Granite City, Ill.

Survivors include a son, Wayne Rigsby of Sikeston, and a sister, Dorothy Karr of Arnold.

She was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 3-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Bolden officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
