CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Funeral for Ruby A. McKenzie of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today...

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Funeral for Ruby A. McKenzie of Chaffee will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Watis Harrell will officiate. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel after 4 p.m. today.

McKenzie, 86, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at Advance Nursing Center in Advance, Mo.

She was born Dec. 14, 1914, at Parma, Mo., daughter of John and Edith Turner Kindred. She and Hershell Robert McKenzie were married March 27, 1937. He died Feb. 26, 2000.

McKenzie had been an inspector at Sports Specialty Shoe Co. and Florsheim Shoe Co.

Survivors include two daughters, June Stubbs and Joan Spencer of Chaffee; four grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild; and four stepgrandchildren.
