JACKSON -- Ruby I. McCain, 71, of Jackson, died Friday, July 12, 1996, at Jackson Manor.
She was born Feb. 17, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Charles and Carrie Gloth Hahn. She and Howard McCain were married April 15, 1975, at Jackson. He died Oct. 31, 1989.
McCain was a graduate of Campster School.
Survivors include three sons, Bobby Payne of Sedgewickville, Danny Dyer of Green Bay, Wis., Donny Hunsaker of Cape Girardeau; six daughters, Judy Swanagan of Burton, Ohio, Diane Busciglio and Peggy Wilkinson of Cape Girardeau, Jean McClanahan and Patty Park of Jackson, Betty Hunsaker of Atlanta, Ga.; a brother, Lester Hahn of Long Beach, Calif.; three sisters, Bessie Hand, Gladys Frazier and Norma Tackett of Cape Girardeau; 22 grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Eddie Dodson officiating. Burial will be in Passover Cemetery at Whitewater.
