RUBY MAGEE

Ruby L. Magee, 90, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at Davis Life Care Center in Pine Bluff. She was born Aug. 14, 1908, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of J.R. Graves and Cora Rasetta Byrd Bowen. She and the Rev. Guy Magee were married April 1, 1928, in Wilson, Ark. He died Feb. 18, 1989...

Ruby L. Magee, 90, of Pine Bluff, Ark., died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at Davis Life Care Center in Pine Bluff.

She was born Aug. 14, 1908, in Savannah, Tenn., daughter of J.R. Graves and Cora Rasetta Byrd Bowen. She and the Rev. Guy Magee were married April 1, 1928, in Wilson, Ark. He died Feb. 18, 1989.

Magee lived in Cape Girardeau from 1955 until moving to Pine Bluff in 1985. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Grady Magee of Pine Bluff; a sister, Lou Whitaker of Malvern, Ark.; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a grandson.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating.
