Ruby M. Hosea, 85, of 816 Sharon Lane died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center. She was born Feb. 24, 1910, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of John and Minnie Thompson Carmack. She and Elvin Hosea were married in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1990...

Ruby M. Hosea, 85, of 816 Sharon Lane died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 24, 1910, at Cape Girardeau, daughter of John and Minnie Thompson Carmack. She and Elvin Hosea were married in 1947. He preceded her in death in 1990.

Hosea was a member of the South Side Baptist Church. She was employed by Rigdon's Laundry as a presser.

Survivors include a son, Jack Cracraft of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the new location of Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel, 829 N. West End Blvd.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral chapel, with the Rev. Kendall Hicks officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery.
