RUBY LAMBERT

SIKESTON -- Ruby Lambert, 87, of Sikeston died Monday, Sept. 7, 1998, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born May 22, 1911, at Lilbourn, daughter of Mose and Rachael Shaver. She and Robert D. Lambert were married Sept. 4, 1927, in Cairo, Ill. He died April 22, 1993.

Lambert had worked at International Shoe Co. and at Lambert's Cafe. She was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.

Survivors include a son, Bob Lambert of Sikeston; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with Pat Hogan officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
