EAST PRAIRIE -- Ruby L. Holleman, 80, of East Prairie, died Monday, May 27, 1991, at her home, following an extended illness.

She was born Sept. 16, 1910, at McCrory, Ark., daughter of Lee and Dora J. Lovins Jeffries. She married William Holleman Sept. 30, 1930. She had lived here since 1955.

Survivors include her husband; three sisters, Janie McCoy of LaJolla, Calif., Lucille Taylor of Lemon Grove, Calif., Pauline Walker of Granite City, Ill.; nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Martin Lucas will officiate, with burial in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
