Ruby Hoffman

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Ruby C. Hoffman, 93, of Perryville died Friday, Nov. 11, 2005, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Jan. 3, 1912, in Faulkton, S.D. She and Lucius J. Hoffman were married Nov. 23, 1938. He died in 1982.

Hoffman worked at International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality.

Survivors include three daughters; Judy Bohnert of Perryville, Bonnie Hoffman of St. Louis, Nancy Fagerberg of Manchester, Mo.; a son, Ken Hoffman of Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Vivian Chappius of Perryville; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish prayers will be at 5:30 with the Ladies Sodality. Visitation will continue from 6:30 to 9:50 a.m. Monday, with the rosary at 9 a.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Rev. Kevin P. Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
