MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Ruby Eva Hanners, 83, of Marble Hill died Friday, Sept. 9, 2005, at her home.
She was born May 1, 1922, at Lutesville, Mo., daughter of Lee and Caroline Langston Cook. She and John Henry Hanners were married May 6, 1939. He died Jan. 13, 2001.
Hanners was a member of Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Frank and Bob Hanners of Marble Hill, Jim Hanners of Cape Girardeau; two brothers, Grover and John Cook of Marble Hill; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill from 4 to 8 p.m. today, and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to service time at Hurricane Fork General Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Sidney Laxton, the Rev. Steve Sander, and Terry Hanners officiating. Burial will be in Pulliam Cemetery near Marble Hill.
