PERRYVILLE -- Ruby V. Favier, 87, of Perryville died Thursday, March 25, 1999, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center.
She was born Jan. 19, 1912, at Allenville, daughter of Arthur and Clola Idell Ramsey Smith. She and Orval J. Favier were married July 25, 1931. He died March 7, 1993.
Favier had been a sewing machine operator at International Shoe Co. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors include three daughters, Betty Hunt of Jackson, Judith Hopfer and Susan Favier of Perryville; three sons, Robert Favier of St. Louis, James and Steve "Puggy" Favier of Perryville.
Also surviving are two sisters, Viola Geiser of Cape Girardeau, Alma Hoffstetter of Perryville; two brothers, Vernon Smith of Cape Girardeau, Charles Smith of Perryville; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-9:40 a.m. The wake will be at 7 tonight.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Vincent's Church. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
