Ruby Estes

Ruby Estes, 97 of Jackson, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, 2012 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Feb. 16, 1915, in Jackson, daughter of William and Lizzy Haman Mason. She and Owen M. Estes were married Aug. 5, 1933 in Benton, Mo. He preceded her in death in 1993.

Estes was a homemaker and a loving mother.

Survivors include; one son, Bill Estes of Jackson; and one sister, Elsie Davis of Millersville; and niece, Dorothy Jean Boyd of the state of California.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by an infant brother.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
