MURRAY, Ky. -- Ruby Ellen Hesselrode, 75, formerly of Mississippi County and Cairo, Ill., died Friday, Oct. 27, 1995, at her home in Murray.
She was born Dec. 30, 1919, in Arkansas to Charles and Flora Belle Parlimon Perry.
Hesselrode was a secretary and treasurer with the Public Ice Service in Cairo until her retirement in 1982.
She married George Hesselrode on Oct. 10, 1938. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Charles Eddie Hesselrode of Jackson, Tenn, Ronald Hesselrode of Murray and Lynn Hesselrode of Cairo; three brothers, Charles Perry and Glenn Perry, both of Bertrand, and Jessie Perry of Charleston; two sisters, Velma Presley and Gayle Carr both of Mitchell, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Perry officiating.
Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Charleston.
