DONGOLA, Ill. -- Funeral for Ruby Dillow of Dongola will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola. The Rev. Raymond Oxford will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Friday, and Saturday until service time.

Dillow, 91, died Tuesday, March 28, 2000, at City Care Center in Anna.

She was born May 26, 1908, at Mill Creek, daughter of Harrison and Cora Knupp Davis. She and George E. Dillow were married Dec. 24, 1931. He died Dec. 29, 1983.

Dillow was a member of Mill Creek Baptist Church, and was in charge of the nursery many years.

She is survived by two sons, Gerald Dillow of Fairview Heights, Larry Dillow of Anna; two stepdaughters, Virginia Stubbs of Denham Springs, La., Nedadean LeGrone of Cooling, Ala.; a stepson, Perry Dillow of Iola, Kan.; a sister, Gladys Conley of Fairview Heights; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 16 stepgrandchildren; 47 great-stepgrandchildren; and 47 great-great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, three sisters, and three stepchildren.
