Ruby J. Clayton, 82, of Jackson died Saturday, April 30, 2005, at her home.
She was born April 19, 1923, in Wappapello, Mo., daughter of Chester and Elsie Stout Horn. She and Hubert Clayton were married Dec. 22, 1939, in Perryville, Mo.
Clayton was a member of the Crossroads United Methodist Church near Sedgewickville, Mo.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Charles Clayton of Jackson; three daughters, Betty Nielson of Sedgewickville, Barbara Michelson of Millersville, Margaret Sides of Jackson; a brother, Willis Horn of Perryville; three sisters, Pearl Horn of Rhineland, Mo., Ioma Denton of Libby, Mont., Ruth Melton of Perryville; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, Mo.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with the Rev. James Brice officiating. Burial will be at the Crossroads Church Cemetery.
