RUBY C. RICE

PERRYVILLE -- Ruby C. Rice, 83, of Perryville died Monday, Oct. 23, 1995, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center here.

She was born May 11, 1912, at Perryville, daughter of William and Rose Tucker French. She married Giles P. "Jack" Rice on Oct. 9, 1935, at Arnold. He preceded her in death Sept. 20, 1984.

Rice was a employed as a cook for the Redemptionists Priests at the Ligouri Mission House in Ligouri.

Survivors include two sisters, Zita Gibbar of Perryville and Lucille Buchheit of Old Appleton; two brothers, Harold French of Perryville and Bob French of Brewer; three grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. today at the Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville and again from 6:30 to 10:30 a.m. Thursday. A parish wake service will be held at 8 tonight. The rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at the St. Maurus Catholic Church in Biehle, with the Rev. Charles Eihlers officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Perryville.
