ST. LOUIS -- Ruby Irene Adams, 81, of St. Louis passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016, at Woodland Manor in Arnold, Missouri.
She was born May 21, 1934, in Scopus, Missouri, the daughter of Raymond and Lola Mae Yount Jones. She and Richard Adams were united in marriage June 17, 1950, and he passed away Oct. 5, 1975.
Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Tower Grove Baptist Church in St. Louis.
Survivors include three sons, Rick and Dick Adams, both of Barnhart, Missouri, and Charles Adams of Fenton, Missouri; a daughter, Julie Yates of Arnold; a brother, Frank Jones of Patton, Missouri; two sisters, Helen David of St. Louis and Sue Fox of Perryville, Missouri; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Richard, and her parents.
Visitation will be Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service at Liley Funeral Home in Patton. The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Roy Michaels officiating. Burial will be in the Sedgewickville Lutheran Cemetery in Sedgewickville, Missouri.
