SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Rubie Mouser of Sikeston was held Friday at First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Wayne Dismuke officiating. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ponder Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mouser, 75, died Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born June 4, 1920, in Kennett, daughter of James M. and Carrie Eaves Kelley. She and LaVerne Mouser were married Oct. 15, 1944. He died Sept. 5, 1974.

Mouser had been a secretary for Berry, Patmor and Day and later for Spitzmiller Co. She was a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, David Mouser of Dexter, and two grandchildren.
