RUBIE HANEY

PUXICO -- Rubie Haney, 91, of Puxico died Monday, June 28, 1999, at Dexter Memorial Hospital in Dexter.

She was born Jan. 5, 1908, at Puxico, daughter of Martin V. and Ethel Ross Sifford. She and Ross Haney were married Feb. 17, 1927. He died June 24, 1995.

Haney had lived in Puxico all her life and was a member of Brown General Baptist Church.

Survivors include a son, Avery Haney of Puxico; a brother, the Rev. Martin Sifford of Reed Springs; a sister, Melissie Placher of Puxico; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Puxico from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Revs. W.V. Mosbey, Ray Placher and John Buttry officiating. Burial will be in Brown Cemetery.
