R.P. CRAFT

CHARLESTON -- R.P. "Popcorn" Craft, 95, of Charleston, died Monday, Jan. 11, 1993, at Bertrand Nursing Facility.

He was born Oct. 15, 1897, in Utica, Miss., son of Earvin and Percilla Craft. He and Vera Flucker were married in 1932, in Carroll County, Miss.

Craft was a member of Mercy Seat Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Curtis Craft of Los Angeles, Calif.; a brother, Eddie Craft of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Iola Clayton of Jackson, Miss.; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mercy Seat Church. The Rev. J.L. Posey will officiate, with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 6-7 p.m. Friday.
