SIKESTON, Mo. -- Rozella Perry, 80, passed away Sunday, May 9, 2021, at Chaffee Nursing Center in Chaffee, Missouri.
She was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Perkins, Missouri, to the late Leon "Duke" and Marcia Rendleman Kinder. On July 15, 1961, in Mesler, Missouri, she married Mike Perry, who survives of the home in Sikeston.
She was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston.
Rozella had a warm, sweet, exemplary nature she strove to maintain during our "thorns in the flesh" in life. She is sorely missed. She has left us faithfully trusting in Jesus to be with Him in a better place with our Father in Heaven.
In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Greg and Bert Perry, both of Sikeston, and Russell Perry of Steele, Missouri; sister, Georgia Doty of Florida; three grandchildren, Justin Perry, Ryan Perry and Baylee Perry; two great-grandchildren; one aunt, several cousins, nieces and other relatives.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, James and Douglas Kinder, and a sister, Jeanette Haman.
Visitation was held Tuesday evening at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. today at the funeral chapel with Joe McCullough, pastor at Murray Lane Baptist Church in Sikeston, and George Rendleman, pastor at Wesley United Methodist Church in Sikeston, officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery (Tillman) near Bell City, MO.
