SCOTT CITY -- Roy Wesley Brant, 50, of Scott City, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, at his home.

He was born July 14, 1944, at Fornfelt, son of Woodson and Idalene Payne Brant. He and Mary Francis Kuehn were married Oct. 1, 1961, at Scott City.

Brant was a truck driver with Potashnick.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Roy Brant II of Kelso, William Brant of Benton; two daughters, Cindy Brant of Cape Girardeau, Cathy Rhymer of Norfolk, Va.; his mother, Idalene Head of Scott City; four brothers, Richard Brant of Winfield, W. Va., R.E. Brant of Parkersburg, W. Va., Randy Brant of Lake Charles, La., Larry Brant of Brevard, N.C., and five grandchildren.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City after 2 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Rennie Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
