GRASSEY -- Roy L. Loy, 72, of Grassey died Thursday, Sept. 15, 1993, at his home.
He was born July 29, 1921, at Farina, Ill., the son of Samuel and Lara Long Loy.
He was a retired railroad carpenter and a veteran of World War II, where he served in the U.S. Army. He also was a member of the Grassey Friendship Church.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis Loy of Champaign, Ill., and Rick Loy of Mason, Ill.; four daughters, Wilma Workman of Grassey, Pat Allen of Mason, Rhonda Hudson of Champaign, and Glenda Sue Loy of Laclede, Ill.; a sister, Norma Birch of Mason; 13 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was Saturday, Sept. 17 at Pagle Funeral Home in Edgewood Ill., with burial in the Farina Cemetery. Baker Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of the local arrangements.
