ST. MARYS - Roy L. Anderson, 90, of St. Marys, died Saturday Oct. 24, 1992 at the American Care Center in Perryville. He was born Sept. 26, 1902 in McBride, the son of Joseph and Louise Hagan Anderson. On July 22, 1924, he married Bernice U. Moll at Perryville; she preceded him in death on Jan. 23, 1991...

ST. MARYS - Roy L. Anderson, 90, of St. Marys, died Saturday Oct. 24, 1992 at the American Care Center in Perryville.

He was born Sept. 26, 1902 in McBride, the son of Joseph and Louise Hagan Anderson. On July 22, 1924, he married Bernice U. Moll at Perryville; she preceded him in death on Jan. 23, 1991.

Survivors include a son, Roy L. Anderson of Perryville; two daughters, Mary Jane Hammer of Bloomsdale, and Elizabeth Maledy of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Anderson was active in the grocery business for over 50 years.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Monday at Basler Funeral Home in St. Marys.

The funeral service will be at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Church in Kaskaskia, with Rev. David Corrigan officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
