Roy Everett Haupt, 68, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 1996, at Missouri Veterans Home.
He was born June 24, 1928, in Sedgewickville, son of Robert and Maggie Moore Haupt. He and Pauline Reed were married March 4, 1949. She died Nov. 30, 1992.
Haupt had been a truck driver with Delta Concrete. He was a member of Caney Fork Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War.
Survivors include a son, Rick Haupt of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Cindy Moyers of Millersville; two brothers, Johnny Haupt of Cape Girardeau, Frank Haupt of Millersville; four sisters, Beulah Crites, Mollie Wright and Mary Crites, all of Jackson, Elsie Seabaugh of Millersville; two grandchildren; and two stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Caney Fork Cemetery.
