MARBLE HILL -- Roy Hale, 77, of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, Jan. 1, 1992, at Saint Francis Medical Center.
He was born at Huntsville, Ala., June 11, 1914, son of John D. and Nancy D. Miles Hale.
On Dec. 20, 1937, he married Ruth Watson.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John D. Hale of Afton, Ronald H. Hale of High Ridge; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.
He was a retired machinist from the Sun Line Candy Co., St. Louis. He moved to the Marble Hill area in 1972.
Service will held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill, with the Rev. Jim Fulbright officiating. Burial will be in Cook Cemetery near Marble Hill.
Friends may call after noon today at the funeral home.
