Roy David Hale, 61, of Scott City died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at his home. He was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roy Everett and Ruth Lee Miller Hale. He is survived by three sisters, Joyce Roth and Gail Ashworth of Scott City, Ginnell Hackler of New Baden, Ill.; and a brother, Richard Hale of Belton, Texas...

Roy David Hale, 61, of Scott City died Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at his home.

He was born Aug. 1, 1944, in Cape Girardeau, son of Roy Everett and Ruth Lee Miller Hale.

He is survived by three sisters, Joyce Roth and Gail Ashworth of Scott City, Ginnell Hackler of New Baden, Ill.; and a brother, Richard Hale of Belton, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

There is no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Lightner Cemetery, with the Rev. Johnny Seabaugh officiating.

Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
