VANDUSER -- Funeral service for Roy Franklin Phillips of Vanduser will be held at 3 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Marvin Graham will officiate, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

Phillips, 91, died Wednesday, Dec. 29, 1993, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born May 21, 1902, in Marston, son of Benjamin Franklin and Earlie Childers Phillips. He and Harriett M. Troxell were married Feb. 11, 1932, in Sikeston.

Phillips was a retired farmer, and member of First Baptist Church of Vanduser.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Agnes Hill of Sikeston; two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother.
