Roy E. Baker, 85, of Cape Girardeau died Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
He was born July 20, 1917, at Welcome, Minn., son of James Edward and Wilma Opal Crosson Baker. He and Lorraine E. Sanguinett were married June 29, 1959, at Perryville, Mo.
Baker owned and operated Baker Bottling Co., and had also been a shoemaker. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and a Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Michael Busch of Olathe, Kan.; a stepgrandchild; and two great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and one sister.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Lorimier Cemetery.
Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
