CHAFFEE -- Roxie Mae Chapman, 80, of Chaffee, died Wednesday, April 17, 1996, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 10, 1915, at Chaffee, daughter of John Riley and Lula Bell Biby. She and Hope Ford Chapman were married Nov. 18, 1933. He died July 17, 1986.

Chapman was a member of First Baptist Church and American Legion Auxiliary to Post 389 at Chaffee.

Survivors include nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery.
