Roswitha May

Roswitha "Rose" May went home to our loving Father Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, at Saint Francis Medical Center.

She was born Sept. 5, 1948, in Germany, to Ruth Lehmann Hirsch. She moved to this country in 1958. She married the late William "Bill" May Sr. Dec. 20, 1968.

Loving survivors include her mother and father, Ruth and Kurt Hirsch, a daughter, Tammy Fitzgerald of Farmington, Mo.; two sons, William "Billy" May Jr. and Jesse May, both of Cape Girardeau; a granddaughter, Caitlyn Revelle of Farmington; a grandson, Caleb Revelle; a sister, Jacqueline Hirsch, and brother, Detlef Hirsch, both of Denver, Colo.; aunt and uncle Helga and Gerhard Hertschel of Colorado Springs, Colo.; a niece, Jeanita Furlong; two nephews, Jimmy Akers and Terry Heath, both of Cape Girardeau; and a sister-in-law, Cheryl Heath of Columbia, Mo.

There is no visitation.

A memorial service will take place at a later date.
