Correction:
JACKSON Ross Claren Heise, 73, of Jackson, died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1992, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born Oct. 30, 1919, in Jackson, Mich., son of Walter and Matilda Ross Heise. He and Viola Grace Sanders were married Nov. 7, 1966, at Jackson, Mo.
Heise served 21 years in the U.S. Navy. He was a correction officer at Southern Michigan Prison in Jackson 10 years, and then worked in the engineer's office with the city of Jackson, Mo., retiring eight years ago.
Survivors include his wife; a stepson, Bruce Keesee of Marble Hill; four stepdaughters, Janet Schreiner and Judy Rose of Jackson, Betty Dunn of San Antonio, Texas, Judy Glenn of Seattle, Wash.; eight stepgrandchildren, and four great-stepgrandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers.
Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
There is no visitation or funeral service.
