ROSIE MAY ENGLAND

EAST PRAIRIE -- Rosie May England, 80, of East Prairie died Saturday, Jan. 15, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Dec. 24, 1913, at East Prairie, the daughter of Clint and Jinnie Cranford Thomas.

On May 24, 1928, she married Valca Wallace Shelby, who preceded her in death on March 23, 1937. On May 25, 1946, she married Issac H. England, who preceded her in death June 15, 1959. She also was preceded in death by a son and a daughter.

Survivors include three sons, Wallace Shelby and Richard England, both of East Prairie, and William Shelby of Gonzales, La.; a daughter, Thelma Crook of Prairieville, La.; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the Shelby Funeral Chapel in East Prairie, where funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday. Mike Johnson and Burl Britt will officiate, and burial will be in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.
