SIKESTON, Mo. -- Rosie Lee Lewis, 76, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2000, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.
She was born Oct. 14, 1925, at Shuqualak, Miss., daughter of Harry and Lurean Hardin Jones.
She was a member of West End Missionary Baptist Church and served on the usher board.
Survivors include a daughter, Willie Estus Sims of Festus, Mo.; six sisters, Louise Wiley and Estella Sharpe, both of Haywood City, Mo., Susie Haney, Mary Glover and Mattie Ford, all of St. Louis, and Alberta Davis of Mount Vernon, N.Y.; three brothers, Kenny Jones of Sikeston, Harry Jones Jr. of LaVergne, Tenn., and Willie Jones of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at West End Baptist Church.
Funeral will be at noon at the church, with the Rev. Alex Sims officiating. Burial will be in the Haywood City Cemetery.
Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home in Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
