Funeral service for Rosie Foster of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. S.S. Borum will officiate, with burial in New Morley Cemetery at Morley.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Foster, 92, died Monday, Aug. 1, 1994, at Jackson Manor in Jackson.

She was born July 13, 1902, in Oregon County, daughter of James David and Vergie Williams Uzzle. She and Thomas E. Foster were married Sept. 4, 1919, in Brockett, Ark. He died Sept. 27, 1981.

Formerly of Morley, she was a member of Morley Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Thomas Foster of Doniphan, James Foster of Stillman Valley, Ill.; two daughters, Edith Adams of Cape Girardeau, Mildred Hitt of Eustis, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters.
