Funeral service for Rosena Luedemann of Cape Girardeau will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Lorberg Memorial Funeral Chapel. The Rev. Steven MacDougall will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Luedemann, 81, died Wednesday, July 14, 1993, at the Lutheran Home.
She was born March 13, 1912, at Gordonville, daughter of Martin and Nina Summers Hellwege. She married Arnold Steinhoff, who died in 1935. She later married John Luedemann, who died in 1973.
Luedemann had been a machine operator at shoe and garment factories. She had been a member of VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Fort D Senior Citizens, and was a charter member of Ladies Aide.
Survivors include a brother, Orren Hellwege of Taunton, Mass., Gladys Steel and Ida Robert of Cape Girardeau; two half sisters, Freida Eggimann of Gordonville, and Meta Loughlin of Walnut Creek, Calif.
She was preceded in death by a son.
