Rosemary Ross

Rosemary Ross, daughter of the late Theodore and Rosalie Klipfel Dohogne, was born March 6, 1935, in Cape Girardeau and departed this life at her family farm Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at the age of 86 years.

Rosemary was a graduate of Chaffee (Missouri) High School and a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Chaffee. She was a domestic engineer and an avid gardener and held many jobs in the food service industry.

On Jan. 9, 1960, she was united in marriage to Robert "Bob" Ross in Chaffee. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, Ted (Julie) Ross of Randles and Daryl (Norma) Ross of Oran, Missouri; two daughters, Pam (Steve) Fleckenstein of Nashville, Tennessee, and Teresa (Tom) Leible of Jackson; brother, Bobby Dohogne of Cape Girardeau; and six grandchildren, Ryan Ross, Elizabeth Ross, Olivia (Dustin) Rhoads, Owen Leible, Katy Fleckenstein, and Eva Fleckenstein.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sister-in-law, Jeanette Dohogne; two brothers-in-law, Tom and Bill Ross; sister-in-law Jo Ann Schwartz; and two nieces, Mary Loos and Robin Ross.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 7, at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. Prayer service will be at 6 p.m. Sunday.

Eucharistic Celebration will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Ambrose Church in Chaffee, with the Rev. David Dohogne officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
