ROSE SELLMEYER

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Funeral Mass for Rose Sellmeyer of Warrenton, Mo., was held Jan. 4 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Warrenton. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Nieburg/Martin Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of arrangements.

Sellmeyer, 93, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2000, at Gardenview Nursing Home in O'Fallon, Mo.

She was born Dec. 20, 1907, near Chaffee, daughter of Louis and Mary Schaeffer Dohogne. She and Thomas Sellmeyer were married Aug. 12, 1948, at Glasgow, Mo. He died in 1994.

Sellmeyer was a retired teacher. She taught at Bleda School near Oran, Mo., Pleasant Hill School near Commerce, Mo., and Marvin School in St. Louis County. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church.

Survivors include two brothers-in-law, Herbert Sellmeyer of Glasgow, Francis Sellmeyer of Crosby, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Stella Manning of Glasgow and Clara Dohogne of Chaffee.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
