ROSE PREUSSE

PERRYVILLE -- Funeral service for Rose Marie Preusse of Perryville will be held at 3 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The Rev. Craig Otto will officiate, with burial in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.

Preusse, 98, died Thursday, June 6, 1996, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 24, 1897, in Jackson County, Ill., daughter of Otto and Minnie Heinbockel Romann. She and Oscar F. Preusse were married Dec. 5, 1921. He died Aug. 19, 1966.

Preusse was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and American Legion Auxiliary to Post 133.

Survivors include a daughter, Marian Tenkhoff of Sikeston; a brother, Henry Romann of Perryville; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
