Rose Helen Pair, 79, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast. She was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Andrew Antone "Andy" and Colletta Rose Westrich Seyer. She married William Edward "Wilson" Pair on Oct. 27, 1972. He preceded her in death April 4, 1981...

Rose Helen Pair, 79, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Southeast.

She was born Feb. 6, 1945, in Cape Girardeau, the daughter of Andrew Antone "Andy" and Colletta Rose Westrich Seyer. She married William Edward "Wilson" Pair on Oct. 27, 1972. He preceded her in death April 4, 1981.

Rose was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School. She worked many years as a dietary aide. Rose was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, and being with family and friends.

Loving survivors include her children, Ben (Mary) Seyer of Longview, Texas, Mary (Terry) Mowell of Dongola, Illinois, and Ruth Pair of Cape Girardeau; 10 grandchildren, Skyler and Marissa Seyer, Megan (Dustin Hale) Kilburn, Kevin (Hayley Brockett) Sullens, Madison Mowell, Ashley (Alex Bullock) Sullens, Colletta (Nick Nocerino) Pair, Jacob Pair, Trevon Pair, Marcus Pair; and four great-grandchildren, Maranda Hale, Waylon Hale, Kyler Sullens and Tucker Mowell.

Also surviving are siblings JoAnn Clements and Charles (Millie) Seyer; and many nieces and nephews.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents; husband, "Wilson" Pair; siblings, Andrew Seyer Jr., Elmer Seyer, Lester Seyer, Viola Kirchdoerfer, Lavada Clements, Berniece Koehler, and an infant brother, Chester Edwin Seyer.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, March 20, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at noon Wednesday, March 20, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Randolph Tochtrop officiating. Interment will follow at Old Goshen Cemetery near Oak Ridge.

Memorial contributions may be made to Old Goshen Cemetery.
