Rose Marie Glueck, 86, of Scott City died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at her home.
She was born March 4, 1933, in New Hamburg, Missouri, to Frank F. and Linda Bertha Westrich Kenkel. She married John A. Glueck on Nov. 7, 1953, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. He preceded her in death May 15, 2009.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, Missouri, and St. Anne's Sodality.
She is survived by two daughters, Carla (Mark) Glueck-Sissom of Scott City and Lisa (Steve) Windeknecht of Cape Girardeau; brother, Elmer Kenkel of Kelso; two sisters, Caroline Glueck and Doris Roth of Scott City; grandchildren, Amber and James Page of Cape Girardeau, Megan and Jeff Petzoldt of Olive Branch, Illinois, and Logan and Brandi Sissom of Wolf Lake, Illinois.
She was known as "Grandma Rose" to her four precious great-grandchildren, Kaden, Avery, Preslee and Reed. Nothing could put a smile on her face quite like the time she spent with them.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Paul and Lawrence Kenkel.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Kelso, with the Rev. Michael Casteel as celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
