SIKESTON, Mo. -- Rose Marie Dowdy, 50, of Sikeston died Monday, Sept. 18, 2000, in Union City, Tenn.
She was born April 17, 1950, in Connecticut. She married Gary Dale Dowdy, who preceded her in death.
Dowdy had worked at Sikeston Community Sheltered Workshop.

Survivors include a brother, Billy George of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home after 1 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie, Mo.
