PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rose C. Brown, 65, of Perryville died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at her home. She was born Jan. 23, 1945, in Perry County, daughter of the late Leroy and Hazel Moonier Tucker. She and Glennon Brown were married Sept. 14, 1963. PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Rose C. Brown, 65, of Perryville died Tuesday, Feb. 23, 2010, at her home.

She was born Jan. 23, 1945, in Perry County, daughter of the late Leroy and Hazel Moonier Tucker. She and Glennon Brown were married Sept. 14, 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheila (Joel) Kurre of Perryville; a son, Craig (Stephanie) Brown of Perryville; two brothers and two sisters, Lawrence Tucker, Nancy Amberger and Sandra Weinkein, all of Perryville, Steven Tucker of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown had been a certified nurse assistant and medical technician at Perry Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, American Legion Post 133 Auxiliary and VFW Post 4282 Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Joseph, William, Thomas and Leroy "Jerry"; and a sister, Agnes.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 9:20 a.m. Friday at Young and Sons Funeral Home. The parish wake will be at 8 today.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent de Paul Church, with the Rev. Milton Ryan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Memorials are preferred to Garden of Hope at Perry County Memorial Hospital, Southeast Hospice or charity of choice.
