ADVANCE -- Roscoe Lattie Pierce, 82, of Brownwood, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. He was born Dec. 11, 1911, at Doniphan, son of Luther and Clara Link Pierce. He was a retired carpenter. He is survived by a son, Jerry D. Pierce, of Bridgeton, Mo.; two daughters, Wilma J. Sheffer of St. Louis, and Patsy D. Robins, Anderson, Ind.,; a sister, Ortha Croy of Advance; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren...

ADVANCE -- Roscoe Lattie Pierce, 82, of Brownwood, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 7, 1994, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Dec. 11, 1911, at Doniphan, son of Luther and Clara Link Pierce.

He is survived by a son, Jerry D. Pierce, of Bridgeton, Mo.; two daughters, Wilma J. Sheffer of St. Louis, and Patsy D. Robins, Anderson, Ind.,; a sister, Ortha Croy of Advance; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance, with the Rev. Watis Harrell officiating, assisted by the Rev. Robert Montgomery. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park at Advance.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today.
